Harbour City Hockey Classic

The Harbour City Hockey Classic is run by NIFHA to support the association, and have a fun weekend
of hockey in Nanaimo.
Information on the Tournament
Typically is comprised of three divisions
Teams are guaranteed 3 games.
Teams are based on 15 skaters
One Friday evening, two Saturday. Top two teams in each division will play in Finals on Sunday.
Individual NIFHA players are also offered the opportunity to register for league entered teams
All players are required to have CARHA insurance, it’s $25 per person and is valid for one season.
For team registration, we will collect team rosters at the beginning of October to submit for insurance.
For each co-ed team, you are required to have a minimum of two women on the ice at all times (not including goalies).
Volunteers
We rely on awesome volunteers to make this the weekend as successful as possible!
Opportunities will be available to assist with our Raffle Draw, in the Beer Gardens, or in the penalty box scorekeeping.
