Mission Statement
Nanaimo Islanders Female Hockey Association (NIFHA) is dedicated to the promotion of adult women’s recreational hockey for players of all skill levels in the Nanaimo region. “Fun, learning, and encouraging better play” are the keystones to this league.

Mandate
NIFHA’s mandate is to offer reasonable recreational hockey league options to suit adult women hockey players of all skill levels in the Nanaimo region. Our mandate is to provide a positive and supportive environment for all. Players are expected to be as positive and encouraging as possible toward one another.
